Bad hair day

It's been a long time since i blogged. The 1 week hol was good, so that I went back to work, marking 4 days out of the 5 day hol. Then on the 5th day I attended this seminar about injecting humour in our lessons. Anyway, I felt I had to do something about my hair, so I decided to go for a cut. I sisn't get an appt so I just stepped into this salon called "red hairdressing" . My hair cut turned out to be a perm in the end. I thought I looked kinda nice in it but I knew some of the school kids will comment on it. So I was prepared. Here today, I've got a sweet little one asking me "Hi Mrs Yit, is your hair like that or did you get a bad hair day?" WSob * Sob* I thought I looked nice in it...???/

I'm listening to this CD one of my students gave me for Teachers' Day. I feel old man... I was wondering why my student gave me this CD... it contained evergreens such as " Me and You and A Dog named Boo", I'd love you to Want Me", Dream Lover etc, all oldies. Why huh? Do I look old? Anyway, I enjoyed the songs. They were good and gave me this old days feel. My colleagues thought it was cool man! So everytime I play this CD, I think of my student. ^_^ I was also so glad and pleasantly surprised that I got a rose from one of the naughtiest boys in class. Naughty boys can be so sweet too and considerate too. ^_^
