Secret

The secret to a clear system.... to clear the rubbish that stretches from the top of you to the other end ... is .... is .... plenty of fibre!!! I mean plenty, plenty, superfluous, excessive, overflowing, endless amount of fibre you can ever pack into that tiny digestive bag that hangs at the end of your oesophagus. The result? Endless relief......!!!! I mean ENDLESS!! Wah......

Hmm

"Even if her child is under her watchful eyes, her mother worries"

Interesting but true... think about that.

Mayb there's a ghost

It's a quiet saturday morn with my cheeky daughter. We had bfast in the kitchen and when I finished mine I threw my limp body on the sofa and started potating (doing nothing while slouching to grow virtual roots). Both of us decided to hop over to the provision shop at the neighbouring condo. Once we returned home, I found the loaf of bread next to the sink (I left it on the table actually before i headed out of the door) and the plastic bread wrapper had a huge ripped off kind of hole. My rash instinct is to summon her majesty the cheekiness and demanded an explanation for the position of the loaf of bread and the hole in its wrapper. Many rounds of questioning - to no avail - her majesty cried and said she dont know what had happened to that wrapper and that bread.

Maybe got ghost lor.... I said.

I released her from her position.

I live opposite the reserve and just outside my kitchen is this coconut tree which is often visited by squirrels, medium sized geckos, funny looking parrot-like birds.... so the best guess I could make is that one of these 'ghosts' could have hopped into my kitchen to chew open the bread wrapper. The clues....? .... grey ink-like patches round my white kitchen sink.

Or mayb really got ghost... who eats bread... hiak! hiak! hiak!!

Last day of school

The class girls started crying before the graduation tea started. Strange isn't it. Then when it was all over, they continued with another round of crying.... is it something that has got to do with women? Crying all day over everything? Perhaps it's the atmosphere.

Brandon Goo came for a visit today. A faithful old student. Good news is he switched course from Normal (T) to Normal (A). I'm proud and happy for him. I hope for all the best for him.

catching up

Old pupils, now sec 2, were streaming in day by day so I've been catching up with them. Yesterday, the 2005 batch came, about 5 of em, and they stalked me to the gym in park mall before heading off to plaza sing to catch the bee Movie. After my workout, they stalked me and called me again for tea, so I obliged. They were well-behaved kids so I didn't mind treating them at Gelare at Plaza Sing. There was a lot of catching up thru updates. Nice kids are really pleasant to be with. They make you feel you had done a great job as a teacher. While there are those who are low on courtesy, the nice ones should be the only ones I should think about to make my day. So I bade farewell once again to good old student friends, Sarah Beh, Wee Keong, Charis, Selica & Linus. Anyway, I get to see Linus now and then cos he is in the same church as I am. Oh dear, Timothy and Bryan came by several times but couldnt catch me cos I scooted off once the bell rang for my gym workout....

As for today, I caught up with colleagues at the NTU alumni. Hey, the food is affordable at 9.90 for a full set... yum yum.

The afternoon was spent with the kids cos I needed to get uniforms for the girl, who's going getting into P1 next year... booo hooo hooo.. there ends my honeymoon toddler years.... . booo hooo hooo....

Gym and Myopia

I had to get back to gym!! Spent 400 over bucks on gym unlimited for 6 months at Amore. Not too bad when I could claim part of the remaining LDS fund. I'm gonna start tmrw.... probably will complain to you about my achy muscles by tmrw or the day after. One hour flat in the gym is the minimum.

Anyway, Timothy and Bryan came to sch today but I couldnt get to meet them, cos I gotta scoot off. So the boys will have to see me again another day. I heard from them Jordan had gone off to the land of the free - the US.... Why is every student going off to US for studies??? Isnt the local schools good enough, or are the local schools too tough to stay on and so those who couldnt make it locally will have to pay huge sums to go overseas?? Tell Tell me...

I screened this movie to the class today - The Sandlot. Excellent comedy and very funny. One thing to take from this movie is that you have only one chance to do something great and many were not able to because they were either scared or to lazy to do it. What a good ponder point! Well, what is my great thing I wanna do? Teach in a 3rd world country, like Thailand, or Cambodia!!! I nearly applied for a teaching post in Hong Kong 5 years back.... but then, somehow, having kids and a family weighs heavily on committment. I thought perhaps start small?

You ask me if I have problems? Hell yes!! But who cares about these problems!! There are enough myopic people out there who think only of their own problems and drown themselves in it in their own little tiny world!! Time is the only fixed entity and there are so many needs to be filled for those who need it, we dont have time for myopic people. Maybe we should all look outwards more than inwards... heh heh I think I need to practise this outward looking thingy myself.... well, I'm optimistic but I ready......!! No one is truly a handicap! The only thing that makes YOU a handicap is when you DON'T USE WHAT YOU HAVE.

Period.
